Recently, I wanted to purchase the iPhone 16, but due to the sale, it kept going in and out of stock very quickly. There was a special offer available for ICICI Bank credit card users. However, since I hadn’t used my ICICI credit card on Flipkart before, it wasn’t saved in my account. Because of this, I couldn’t verify the offer associated with my card. When I tried to add the new card during checkout, Flipkart displayed a popup saying the product was out of stock, preventing me from checking the offer.😤
To make my card appear in-advance at the checkout page I followed this following way since they don’t allow you to add card directly without purchase.
Steps to Add Credit Card in Flipkart
Step 1. Open Flipkart Website or Application
Step 2. Login to your account with OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 3. Search for Flipkart Rs. 25 Digital Gift Card or click here to open.
Step 4. Click on Buy Now button.
Step 5. In popup window, enter recipient details. You can enter your own details.
Step 6. On checkout page, enter your credit card details that you want to be added.
Step 7. Pay Rs. 25 from your card and you will receive Flipkart Digital Gift card which you can add to your account.
Now your card will be saved in your account and can be seen directly on the checkout page of your next purchase. 😎
