Jio had claimed that they would offer their customers up to 300 percent additional benefits through new Jio plans. Jio No Longer Offer Their Users to Recharge Old Prepaid Plans Via Tariff Protection
All the Jio users noticed that the Jio tariff protection plan is not showing in the tariff section, this means Reliance Jio removed this service a few days ago from the company’s website. With the Jio tariff protection plan service, its prepaid users will be able to get the previous but not newly launched plans. However, the service is no longer available. All the prepaid users have to recharge with the newly launched recharge plans.
But Jio allowed its prepaid users who don’t have an active plan can avail of the old prepaid plans through tariff protection service. After announcing the hike in recharge plans recently, Jio allowed its prepaid users to recharge with old prepaid plans who do not have any active plan. This tariff recharge plan valued at Rs.149 even after the hikes in tariff, offers 1.5GB data/day, unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calling, and 100 SMS/day with 28 days validity.
How to Get Jio Tariff Protection Plan?
To get a Jio tariff protection plan follow the below process.
1. Login: First of all, open the My Jio website or MyJio App and log in using your mobile number.
2. Go To Setting: After logging in navigate to My Account and Service Setting.
3. Find Out Tariff Protection: find out the Tariff Protection option in the account setting option.
4. Choose Plan: Select the tariff plan which you want to recharge with.
Points to Remember:
- Check your availability if the tariff protection service is available on account or not.
- While some other tariff plans may require auto-pay services to access them.
- Check the details of the tariff protection plan before activating it, such as the validity period, data allowances, and price.

Follow the steps to recharge with the tariff protection plan:
- Firstly, open the MyJio App and My Jio website, and log in with your number.
- Then, go to the My Account section
- Next, you have to set up the Jio Auto Pay service.
- Find out affordable and tariff protection pack, there you will see Rs.395 plan.
- Set up the further payment process by Credit Card, bank, UPI, or more.
- Successfully you will see Jio Autopay set for Rs.395 in MyJio App.
